My Precious Son
As a little child you came running to me.
For you Knew I would always be there.
To soothe all your hurts and fears.
to softly kiss away your tears.
To tenderly hold you near.

Now my precious son, you have grown,
Into a young Man, with choices of your own.
And though you may not choose.
The path of life I want for you.
Still I will love you for who you are.
For you are your life's leading star.
And to your own heart you must be true.
So you can design a life made specially for you.
And please remember I shall always be here.
To offer my support, guidance, and care.

For a Mother's love is the unconditional kind.
A ever-lasting love untouched by the hands of time.

I wanted to share this poem with you. I wrote this poem
for my soon to be married Son. I hope you like it.
I am sure all the Moms can relate to it.

A Home- Less Man's Plea
Streets of broken promises
Streets of pain, that's where
I live on streets of shame.

A humble man with tattered clothes,
and weary blood - shot eyes.
I stand watching, as people
pass me by.
" hey mister can you spare a dime"

Why Can't you see me - I am alive!
To my existence you are blind..
Stop! look in into my eyes.
for you will surely see that you are,
merely a reflection of me.

So please have some compassion
for me, a fellow human being.

For one day you may awaken to
see that, I am you and you are me.

Nature's Harmony

the blazing sun beamed down

warming the ocean's cool head,

And the shimmering waves danced

caressing the sandy shore,

And the somber clouds united

Bidding farewell to the sun,

And the raging winds wailed

Whispering woe to the dreary sky,

And the mighty waves lunged up

Throwing kisses to the sultry air,

And the rumbling heavens exploded

Raining the precious waters of life.

A Lesson From A  Flower

A flower's youth and beauty soon die but,

the beauties within her roots still lie.

For your true value can not be derived

on worldly things from the outside.

So look inside yourself where you will find

Real self worth can only be defined.

Search deep within your heart and soul

Until the sweet mystery of life begins to unfold.

For unconditional love of God, Self and others

are the true meaning of life, and they can not

Be brought nor sold for a price.

So do not waste your time on things which are vain.

Good strong roots are made of your spiritual gains

Physical Differences
Oh Lord, our discriminations cause us needless pain
Yet we continue to punish each other in vain.
So Lord, Please grant us thy kind grace.
Let us not judge anyone by the body nor the face.
And teach us thy wisdom that we should start.
To look beyond the human outer shell.
And behold the beauty in a person's heart.
For the wise Lord, has buried vital treasures within.
So our true values as human being don't depend.
On our physical bodies, races nor colors of skin.
And we could miss out on a wonderful experience.
Just from being critical of a person's appearance.

Reflections Of Hope

Walk in Sunshine with Mirth.

Casting your smile upon the earth.

Burn your candle of love so bright.

Reflecting hope to worldly plight.

Your shining beacon lights the way.

For those lost and drifted astray.

And beaming kindness shall heal sorrow.

For only love will brighten tomorrow.
